After
a while of working on it, I decided I didnt' like the way it
worked with the body and trashed it.
So
I went with a face turned in the same angle as the one in the
body shot. I had to flip both of these because they just
didn't work as well in the other direction.
This
was the original sketch for the body.
I used several pictures like the
one below to study the hair and then made up most of it.
So this is the result of the photo
above and many pictures of curly hair.;)
I pasted the
drawing of the head onto the body. At this point I could see
the body was too sketchy for the face and I needed to work on
it more
Also
it was a little too large so I had to crop out the arms. I
used Photoshop to correct some mistakes, and then printed it
out and traced it onto a new piece of paper
This
is the final drawing for the body.
After I made some minor changes, such as color ( the left
shoulder had to come down,) I attached the head. I used
photoshop tools, like airbrush, cloning tool, & line tool
the blend the head and body together and add some depth to the
whole thing
